Raja Haji Fisabilillah International Airport , formerly Kijang Airport, is an airport located in Tanjung Pinang, Bintan, Riau Islands, Indonesia. ==History==
The airport is named after Raja Haji Fisabilillah. In the beginning, it was managed by the State Assets Directorate General of Civil Aviation Ministry of Transportation. In 2000, the operation of Kijang Airport Tanjung Pinang submitted to PT Angkasa Pura II. On April 12, 2008, Deer airport name officially changed to Raja Haji Fisabilillah International Airport. Inauguration of the name of Raja Haji Fisabilillah International Airport was conducted by the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia Jusman Syafii Djamal symbolically marked by turning the siren and the signing of the stone inscriptions in the presence of Riau Islands Governor Ismeth Abdullah, Vice Governor of Riau Islands HM Sani, Chairman of the Parliament H.M. Nur Syafriadi and other local officials. A new passenger terminal with a size of 8,210 square feet and one aerobridge was inaugurated on June 2013. It has a capacity of 600.000 per year.
